@ www.acceleratedresoultiontherapy.com. ART uses eye movements that
imitate the REM (Rapid Eye Movements) when you are sleeping. “The
two major components of ART include minimizing or eliminating
physiological response associated traumatic memories and re-envisioning
painful or disturbing experiences with a novel technique known as
Voluntary Image Replacement.”
Simple instructions guide the person to create a healing memory and to
replace the emotional response over the trauma or anxiety. It has proven
helpful with people dealing with PTSD, Anxiety, Stress, Grief, Anger
and Phobias. ART substantially reduces symptoms which are uncomfortable.
It supports ‘short term’ traditional talk therapy. Teri works with individuals and couples/ Adults and Adolescents.
